The Masters, Part 2

(The Bets)

One more day to go, and Ron is not doing anything to hamper my enthusiasm for Collin this week. I promised a betting card today, and I think I may have over delivered.

In Case you missed it, there’s a ton of golf content we made over the week:

Betting Card

I may have gotten a little over the top this year, but I do every year. This is like the Super Bowl when it comes to props, and I backed the guys I liked. I also dug into some historical stuff for round one data, bogey avoidance here at Augusta, as well as Eagle rates to play a few extra props for Thursday.

Weather

The Friday sprinkles appear to be less likely, and the winds only seem like they’ll kick up in round two.

Windfinder is a bit more aggressive on the Friday afternoon winds, and most places are calling for the Friday rains to be light and early in the morning now. It could play nice and soft early on in Round 2, as the sub-air doesn’t completely dry things out immediately.

It’d be nice to say that the PM/AM wave has an advantage based on the soft morning conditions Friday and the nasty winds later, but any delay for round 2 would push some of them into the wind and ruin that pretty quickly.
